These two videos are about sailing in waves while either pinching or footing.  One would not ordinarily want to pinch in waves, but sometimes you may need to in order to hold a lane or to hedge toward an upcoming puff.  The first video shows pinching.  Note the main is fully sheeted in and the outhaul eased for more power in the bottom of the sail.  Also watch the active steering.   The second video is shorter, but shows the sail eased for footing.
