Genius Shroud Pin for 1/4″ Turnbuckles

SailZing Genius Shroud Pins are reimagined sidestay turnbuckle pins designed to last longer, be less fidgety, remain handy and secure your Melges 15 shroud turnbuckles. How many of us have had the pins fall out of our rig tool or hook-and-loop fastener strips straps? Have you lost one overboard while changing rig tension? This SailZing.com original design is meant to be smarter than those other pins. These are sold individually, so order four to cover both shroud turnbuckles. Four Genius Shroud Pins weigh less than 0.4 ounces. The design includes a hole for users to add a retention lanyard, if desired.

The pins are 316 Stainless Steel in the largest diameter (3.32″) that will fit the turnbuckle hole. If you bend it, don’t blame the pin. It’s not a warranty issue.

SailZing Genius Shroud Pins will probably work with other 1/4″ turnbuckles such as may be found on an E-Scow, but some of these turnbuckle pin holes are smaller than 3/32″ and need a different size. We will be releasing new sizes as we discover which are needed. Send a note if you have a pin size request and we’ll see if it makes sense to offer that size..
