Henry started sailing 420s in his junior year of college when he and a friend realized they could get free sailing lessons if they started a sailing team. He was hooked after his first regatta and started sailing MC-Scows shortly after graduating in 2014. A few months later he bought his first boat, MC 2040. Henry is an active racer and teacher at Lake Harriet Yacht Club in Minneapolis. He could be seen on the road at Nationals in Texas, and will be attending the MC Invite, ILYA Championships, and more.
He’s spent the past two years reading every sailing book he can get his hands on, and picking the brains of the best. We’re excited to have him on team SailZing!
