Key Points

To head up:

  • Sheet in main
  • Ease jib
  • Heel boat to leeward
  • Move forward
  • Lower centerboard

To bear off:

  • Sheet in jib
  • Ease main
  • Heel boat to windward
  • Move back
  • Raise centerboard
